OOO Kliver is a production complex for manufacture of steel structures that has been created based on the former facilities of the Construction Steel Structures Fabrication Yard of LLC LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft.
The decision on construction of the yard was taken in December 1992 to address the needs in facilities for fabrication of steel structures for the oil sector in the Kaliningrad Region and in view of the forecast development of the Kravtsovskoye oil field in the Baltic Sea. The business cooperation with THC of the UK, which just started developing at that time, had bolstered this decision and in a year and a half, on September 1, 1994, a new yard specializing in the fabrication of construction steel structures appeared on the shore of the sea channel connecting the ports of Kaliningrad with the Baltic Sea.
In September 2012, the yard was separated from LLC LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft by demerger and received a new name, OOO Kliver.
